Food Cook-Offs
 
One of the highlights of the festival each year is the gumbo cook-off competition. Chefs prepare steaming hot pots of meat or seafood gumbo and compete for the title of Gumbo Champion.

If you would like to participate as a chef or a sponsor, contact Kim Welsh at 225-869-3636. These events will be held on Friday night in conjunction with the Gumbo Cook-Off.
